Hey! I'm going to nursing school! Can you spare a dollar for a poor jobless girl who is eventually going to be able to put an IV in your arm?

Awakened Aesthetic

"And the stubborn was just born right into you."

I like grand adventures, food that's in season and moss-covered trees. I'm into skirts and martinis, beer and baggy jeans. One of these days I'm going to shave my head, even though my partner swears he'll grow a skullet in protest. I used to be a voracious reader; lately I'm just a voracious thinker.

I have more plans for revolution than some, and I'm more optimistic than most. I've been told this is a bad combination.

"Do you know that I've been sitting here thinking to myself: that if I didn't believe in life, if I lost faith in the woman I love, lost faith in the order of things, were convinced in fact that everything is a disorderly, damnable, and perhaps devil-ridden chaos, if I were struck by every horror of man's disillusionment - still I should want to live."
-Fyodor Dostoyevsky, The Brothers Karamazov

Even when things are at their most dire, I am utterly tenacious about life.
